At the hotel's doorstep
The hotel is an ideal starting point for your excursions. There is the dock for the Caprice boat, the steam train station and the starting point for some of the most beautiful walks in the region. In an hour and a half, you will already be at the top of the Dent de Vaulion.

Just 1km from the hotel you will find the Vacherin Museum and a little further on the Clock Museum as well as the Iron and Railway Museum.

In the region, we have some great discoveries to make, including the magnificent caves of Vallorbe, the Jura Parc where you can admire bears and wolves in semi-liberty, the Fort of Pré-Giroud as well as the Fort of Joux and many other things.

The steam train will take you to discover the Vallée de Joux in a different way. But you can also decide to cruise on the Lac de Joux with the Caprice boat or, for the more adventurous, with the pedal boats.

Come and skate on the Lac de Joux, a unique experience. The Vallée de Joux also has 11 ski lifts and 42 slopes, the Mont d’Or and its ski area is also nearby. If you prefer cross-country skiing, there is a 400km French-Swiss ski area ready for you.
