Scope
This policy covers browsing the website, contacting the hotel by phone or email, booking enquiries and the use of hotel and restaurant services.
Reservations and payments made via a separate reservation provider are also governed by that provider's privacy notices.
Personal data collected
Technical services may process IP addresses, access logs, timestamps, requested pages, browser and device details and security-related data.
Depending on the enquiry, we may process names, contact details, stay dates, guest numbers, room preferences and other information necessary to manage the booking. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed.
Purposes and legal grounds
We use personal data to respond to requests, provide accommodation and restaurant services, manage reservations, administer the business, protect our systems and meet legal obligations.
Where applicable, processing relies on contract performance, legal duties, legitimate interests or consent. Optional analytics and advertising are subject to your prior choice.
External reservations and payments
The booking form is provided through Hotel-Spider (reservations.hotel-spider.com). Information submitted in that interface is transmitted to the reservation service and, where necessary, its technical or payment partners.
We do not collect complete payment card details through the hotel's own website. Payment and cancellation arrangements follow the conditions presented during reservation.
Service providers and recipients
Climbee SA supports website development and maintenance and may access data necessary to provide that support. Website publishing and media distribution may involve LeadConnector, Google services and content delivery networks.
Data may be shared with service providers required to fulfil a service or with public authorities when legally required. The hotel does not sell personal data.
Analytics and advertising
Google Tag Manager (GTM-5NB9JK5K) may activate optional measurement or marketing services according to your choices. Such categories are disabled by default.
Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent access to core website content or necessarily prevent essential technical cookies used by the booking provider.
International transfers
Some technology or reservation providers may process data outside Switzerland. Appropriate safeguards are applied where required by law.
Retention
Information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of processing, meet accounting or statutory duties or establish and defend legal rights.
The site's locally stored cookie preferences expire no later than six months after they are saved.
Security
Appropriate organizational and technical precautions are used to protect information from unauthorized access, loss or misuse. No internet transmission is entirely risk-free.
